For the last several years, PA Smart Grant Funding has enabled IU 8 to become a Workforce Development Partner and join other organizations making efforts to support our four counties.
Integral in this work was Carole Kakabar, Grant Co-Director and Coordinator, who is shown accepting an Achievement Award from Dr. Butler, IU 8 Executive Director.
Retired from Ferndale as superintendent, Carole brought that expertise and focus to the role and had a positive impact on our region.
