Alternate Assessment Anchors clarify the standards assessed on the PASA and can be used by educators to help prepare their students for the PASA.  All teachers are still required to teach to all of the standards and use local assessments to measure student progress.  The Alternate Assessment Anchors and Eligible Content documents also reference the PSSA Standards from which the PASA Alternate Content Standards and Alternate Assessment Anchors were derived.

Pennsylvania's Alternate System of Assessment is for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities.  This site contains information about why and how the test is given, how it is scored, and what happens to the scores for the students taking the test. Additionally, it is a resource for teachers regarding the Pennsylvania State adapted standards for these students.
