Act 89 provides auxiliary services such as guidance, counseling, and testing; psychological services; remedial math and reading; and speech and hearing services. Direct and consultative services are available to over 3,500 students based on planning with the nonpublic school administrators of Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Somerset counties.
