Part-time Delivery Person
Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is accepting applications to fill a part-time delivery position. The position requires the delivery of school equipment and supplies to school districts in Bedford, Blair, Cambria and Somerset counties. A verifiable safe driving record and driving experience in diverse weather conditions is required. The position is based in Altoona, PA. ACT 34, 151 and 114 clearances are required. Sign Language Interpreter

Full-time Maintenance / Custodial Position

Substitute Teachers
Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is accepting applications for substitute teachers for day-to-day assignments.  Assignments are available in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Somerset Counties.  PA Certification is required. 
Teachers of the Visually Impaired
Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is accepting applications for Pennsylvania Department of Education certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired for full-time positions in a four county area. 


Speech & Language Impaired Teachers

Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is accepting applications for Pennsylvania Department of Education certified Speech & Language Impaired Teacher(s) for full-time positions in a four county area.  189 working days with full benefits package. 
Part-Time and/or Substitute Teacher Aides
