| A New and Exciting Resource! |
The Instructional Materials Services Department of Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 is very proud to announce the newest acquisition to our video library. We now subscribe to The PBS VIDEOdatabase of America's History and Culture.
The PBS VIDEOdatabase is one of the most advanced teaching resources available anywhere, and is now available to you, as a participating member of the IU. There has never been a more comprehensive, correlative Instructional Media tool that so directly affects the classroom as the PBS VIDEOdatabase.
This is such an exciting opportunity for us, to be able to provide such a large wealth of information, videos, and resources in addition to the other services that the IMS Department has to offer. Please contact the IMS office to receive the Subscriber I.D. Number for Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8, required to create new individual accounts. All are welcome, but the materials are geared primarily for History, World Cultures, Social Studies, and some Science Teachers.
